Walking/Waterfront Bus/Biking
The Seattle Aquarium encourages visitors to consider climate-friendly choices for your next visit.  From downtown, walk down the Pike Street Hillclimb via the Pike Place Market.  Metro transit offers many bus routes to take you within a 15 minute walk of the Aquarium. The Waterfront Streetcar Line Bus (Metro Rt. #99) will bring you right to the Aquarium from the International District, Pioneer Square or along the Waterfront. To check out the region bus trip planner click here. In addition, look for our new Octopus bike rack just north of our main entrance.

Parking
Metered parking is available along the waterfront and underneath the Alaskan Way viaduct. Republic Parking Hillclimb Garage and the Public Market Parking Garage are also located across the street from the Aquarium.

Members
Receive $1.00 off your fee at the Republic Parking Hillclimb Garage per hour parked with maximum of $3.00 discount per visit. Present your parking ticket to the customer desk to receive the stamp. Then put your membership name/number on the ticket for us upon exiting the garage. 

Guests
Receive $1.00 off your fee at the Republic Parking Hillclimb Garage. Present your parking ticket to the customer desk to receive the discount stamp.

Republic Parking Hillclimb Garage (206) 622-7672 - Open 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday-Sunday.

Public Market Parking Garage - Open 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
