Sea otters eat more than 25% of their body weight each day?
Adult VolunteersVolunteers at the Seattle Aquarium learn about the marine environment and their relationship to it. They share their time, meet people with similar interests and assist guests in appreciating the unique qualities and valuable education the Aquarium has to offer. The primary role of volunteers at the Seattle Aquarium is to enhance the guest experience through effective interpretation in exhibit areas.
When you're ready to make your initial commitment join us at an upcoming orientation. During orientation applicants will become acquainted with the Aquarium, the volunteer program and volunteer expectations and benefits; they will also be introduced to the role of interpreters and other volunteer opportunities. Our next orientation is scheduled for Saturday, October 2, 2010 from 9:30am - 12:00pm. Please register by calling 206-386-4342 or email volunteers@seattleaquarium.org.
