Did You Know?

Sea otters eat more than 25% of their body weight each day?

Searching for Sixgills

Did you know that there are large sharks that swim right here in Elliott Bay?  Meet Seattle's most mysterious visitors at this exhibit which is part of our working Sixgill Shark research program.

A video screen at the exhibit shows highlights from a research night and explains what the research is about, and why it is important.  You will also see video footage taken from beneath the Aquarium's pier of Sixgill Sharks, the third largest predatory shark in the world.
