Did You Know?

Sea otters eat more than 25% of their body weight each day?

Underwater Dome

Surrounded by Sea Life

The underwater Dome is one of the Aquarium's largest  exhibits. Two short tunnels lead into a spherical undersea room featuring 360 degree views into a 400,000 gallon tank filled with fish!

Schools of large, silvery, open-water salmon flash in the filtered sunlight, large menacing ling cod lurk around underwater reefs, sharks swim slyly, ever on the look-out for prey, brightly-colored deep-water rockfish hover near crevices on or above the bottom, large sturgeon prowl the bottom for leftovers, and skates bank upwards against the current like miniature Starship Enterprises.

One of the special highlights is a talk and feeding of the fish by Aquarium scuba divers at 1:30 pm daily.
