Did You Know?

Sea otters eat more than 25% of their body weight each day?

Window on Washington Waters

A slice of Puget Sound right here on Pier 59!

Window on Washington Waters is a 120,000-gallon showcase exhibit. The 20-foot by 40-foot angled acrylic window itself weighs more than 55,000 pounds and is 12.5 inches thick. The exhibit is modeled after Neah Bay’s rock blades filled with salmon, colorful rockfish, vibrant sea anemones and other native Washington marine life that lives amid the kelp-filled sea. Divers take to the water three-times a day in this exhibit.  Wearing specialized masks, the divers are able to talk back and forth with the visitors!
Dive shows take place at 10am, 11:30am and 12:15pm daily.
