>> MARINE CREATURES YOU ARE LIKELY TO SEE IN THIS EXHIBIT
CORALS
Coral reefs are the ocean
equivalent of rainforests,
and are home to 25%
of all marine species.
HARLEQUIN SHRIMP
The harlequin shrimp's
food of choice is the
sucker feet of starfish.
COWFISH
The cowfish is one of the most comical-
looking creatures on the reef.
Its tiny fins make it look
more like a blimp moving
through the water than a fish.
LEAF SCORPIONFISH
The leaf scorpionfish doesn't
just look like a leaf—it acts
like one, swaying in the
currents like a dead leaf.
SEAHORSES
Seahorses are among the
only animal species on
Earth in which the male
bears the unborn young.
