
Ocean Animals
Through games and discussions students will learn about six Puget Sound invertebrates. They will explore the names, feeding habits, locomotion and habitats of these animals without backbones. Other activities include puppets, felt board games, squid dissection, animal rubbings and songs.

Seals, Whales and Otters
This class explores the biological characteristics of marine mammals and introduces four groups: seals, baleen whales, toothed whales and otters. Students have the opportunity to handle pelts, bones, teeth and baleen. Other activities include marine mammal rubbings and life-size marine mammal banners.

Fun with Fishes
Students will learn about Northwest fish and sharks through a skeleton, teeth and puppets. Other activities include fish rubbings and storytelling. Students will also enjoy a special sixgill shark research activity.

The Salmon Story
Children learn about the life of salmon, from egg to adult. Enriching activities include magnet board games, role-playing the salmon life cycle and a Native American story.

Dates and Fees
Monday-Friday, October 8, 2012 to June 14, 2013 $85 per class plus ferry fee if applicable. If two or more classes are requested on the same day, please call for discount pricing.
