Join sailing and science instructors from The Center for Wooden Boats and the Seattle Aquarium on the longboat “Discovery,” a 26-foot open rowing and sailing boat like those used by explorers Cook and Vancouver. Chart your course across Puget Sound, conduct science experiments at sea and present your research at the Aquarium. Develop leadership, teamwork and communication skills while having fun and gaining technical ability in sailing, rowing, navigation and field observation.
Camp takes place at the Seattle Aquarium; overnight takes place at Blake Island.
