For kids entering kindergarten Fall 2013 July 1-3 Monday-Wednesday, 9am-12pm Morning half-day camp only: $110; Aquarium members $100 Morning and afternoon camp: $200; Aquarium members $180 Colorful marine animals depend on kelp to make homes, find food and protect themselves. Become a friend of the kelp forest and get to know the many creatures you’ll encounter in this habitat—from furry sea otters to barking sea lions, bright orange fish to prickly purple urchins. Can be combined with the half-day Once Upon a Tide Pool afternoon camp; lunchtime will be 12–1pm for all-day camp.

Once Upon a Tide Pool
For kids entering kindergarten Fall 2013 July 1-3 Monday-Wednesday, 1-4pm Afternoon half-day camp only: $110; Aquarium members $100 Morning and afternoon camp: $200; - SOLD OUT Aquarium members $180 At low tide, the shore reveals pockets of shallow water surrounded by fortresses of rocks. Hundreds of tiny animals call these glimmering pools home until they’re covered by the incoming tide. Join us to hear fishy tales and sing sea songs from a day in the life of an ever-changing tide pool. The hermit crabs, sea cucumbers, sea stars, anemones and more who dwell there can’t wait to share their stories with you. Can be combined with the half-day Friends of the Kelp Forest morning camp; lunchtime will be 12–1pm for all-day camp.
