Art Day / Plankton Tow With Waterfront Block Party

Where Pier 62, north of the Seattle Aquarium on Alaskan Way

When Saturday, July 9 at 4-8pm

It’s a Friends of the Waterfront Block Party and everyone is invited! Seattle Aquarium staff and educators will offer a choice of fun art activities for all ages. Visitors may find themselves studying the incredible diversity of plankton under a microscope, or engaged in a craft project.

Fishy Painting & Ocean-themed Art
At one station, participants will paint a portrait of one of the many beautiful marine invertebrates of Puget Sound. At another, staff will lead a fish printing activity. These art projects are designed for everyone! Event limited to 20 people at a time. All ages

Event will be held outdoors, so please dress for the weather.
