Meet the creators of this poignant story of redemption through empathy and compassion found in the most surprising places: A lost cat roams the tide pools, pawing at the creatures that live there. An anemone confronts him, asks why he is alone and befriends him. The book delivers a powerful message about finding understanding and friendship, and at the same time educates readers on the wildlife found in tide pools.
Join us to make a puppet based on the story’s characters with artist Ed Young, and listen as Brenda reads aloud. Afterward, Ed and Brenda will sign books, available for purchase in our gift shop.
