Join the Seattle Aquarium for our biggest party of the year and signature fundraising gala! Slip into your favorite resort wear—from shorts and sandals to swanky cocktail attire—and prepare for a fun night filled with opportunities to experience the Aquarium like an ultimate insider. 

Here’s just a sampling of what you’ll enjoy during our 21+ soiree:

  • A hosted bar, gourmet food stations, passed hors d’oeuvres and delectable desserts—for this special night only, the Aquarium is turning into an all-inclusive resort on the waterfront!
  • Behind-the-scenes tours, animal enrichments, diver shows and habitat interpretation throughout the Aquarium.
  • A chance to win a personal behind-the-scenes tour for you and six guests!
  • Music from KEXP DJ Troy Nelson so you can dance the night away in Puget Sound Hall.
  • A special appearance with one of Ivar’s dancing clams (selfie alert!).
  • Late-night burgers from Dick’s before you head home and a commemorative wine glass to remember the amazing time you had.
  • Complimentary valet parking.

Get a glimpse of locations that are off-limits to our daytime guests, including our animal food prep area, water quality lab, Veterinary Care Center and the area above our Window on Washington Waters habitat.

8:15–8:45pm: feeding in the sea otter habitat

Habitat interpretation throughout the Aquarium
This intimate evening will provide a unique opportunity to get up close to the habitats and ask questions about the animals in our care.

Visit each of our featured tables to learn about our exciting programs and initiatives, then drop your completed Splashport in the drawing box to be entered to win a personal behind-the-scenes tour for you and six guests!

Help choose the evening’s octopus enrichment 
The winning choice will be offered to the octopus at 8pm! $10 per entry.

Help choose the name for the next octopus in our care
$25 per entry.

From shorts and sandals to cocktail attire and everything in between! And, while we encourage you to draw inspiration from this year’s featured animal, coral, we ask that you please not wear any real coral.
