Splash! is the Seattle Aquarium’s signature fundraising gala.

Funds raised from Splash! support our work to advance animal welfare, marine and ecosystem science, public policy, field conservation, and education to regenerate the health of our one ocean.

Splash!2023 will be held on Friday, June 2.

Doors open for the pre-party at 5pm and the program will start at 5:30pm.
Doors open for the gala at 6:30pm.

We have secured Butler Seattle to provide complimentary valet services for Splash!2023.

Splash! is now a huge, strolling cocktail party—entirely within the Seattle Aquarium! By staying at the Aquarium for the entire evening, we can have more time with the animals and show guests the inner workings of our habitats with some mini behind-the-scenes tours and special animal enrichments.

Plus, a lower gala ticket price means Splash! is more accessible to more people!

While Splash! will no longer have an auction, we have preserved many of the fun and celebratory features that you know and love, like:

• Resort casual attire
• Commemorative Splash! animal glass
• Delicious hors d’oeuvres
• Signature cocktails (and signature mocktails)

While there’s no formal sit-down dinner, we’ll have delicious hors d’oeuvres and food stations so there will be plenty to eat and it will feel like you’ve had dinner!

The pre-party is for guests who would like to support the Aquarium at a deeper level (pun intended!) and will include an exciting update on the Aquarium’s inspiring conservation programs and a raise the paddle.

We hope our Aquarium Ambassador-level donors will come earlier in the evening to raise their paddles high and make this the most successful Splash! in Seattle Aquarium history.

There are a limited number of tickets available for the pre-party (though there will, of course, be ample opportunity to support the Aquarium at any level throughout the evening’s festivities).

Pre-party tickets include entry into the main gala.

Attire is resort casual (or resort cocktail, resort or resort chic if that’s your desire!). We’ve got our fingers crossed for a beautiful summer evening. Guests are encouraged to dress in keeping with this year’s featured animal, coral. But we ask that you please not wear real coral!

Yes, please do purchase your tickets in advance. Registration opens April 3.

Tickets to the pre-party are $500/person and include entry to the gala as well.
Tickets to the  gala are $150/person.

Splash! is a 21+ event. If your “child” is over 21 we’d be delighted to see them!

Splash!2023 will feature a heavy hors d’oeuvres reception, not a sit-down dinner, and we’ve worked to provide options for a multitude of dietary restrictions.

Since Splash!2023 no longer includes a sit-down dinner, we won’t have table captains per se, but please do invite your friends and colleagues to join you at the event. You can do that by forwarding the invite email to them with a personal note or purchasing a ticket for them. If you would like us to send them a printed invite on your behalf, please reach out to us at splashgala@seattleaquarium.org.
