SeaChange

The Seattle Aquarium board of directors and event Co-Chairs Eric Steinwinder and Lisa Schafer invite you to our sixth annual fundraising breakfast benefiting conservation and research, with keynote speaker Julie Packard, founding executive director of the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Daily 10am, 11:30am and 12:15pm, 3pm (weekends only)

Diver show

Window on Washington Waters

Divers take to the water three times a day in this exhibit. Wearing specialized masks, they are able to talk back and forth with Aquarium interpreters on the outside of the exhibit, and answer questions from the audience.

Cedar River Salmon Journey

What do salmon need to thrive? Why is clean and cold water so important to their survival? Discover how you can help to keep these special creatures coming back to the river where they were born. See the salmon migration and learn about the epic journey that takes place every year as salmon swim from the ocean, through the Ballard Locks, into Lake Washington, and up the river to spawn.

Toddler Time

A myriad of developmentally age-appropriate, hands-on activities await for tots to explore. For children ages 5 and under; must be accompanied by an adult. Free with Aquarium admission.

October 27–28, 2018

Aquarium Halloween

Creepy games and activities, face painting, fun treats and two kinds of pumpkin carving demonstrations—on land with master carver Russ Leno and underwater with our Aquarium divers.

Deaf Community Day

Sign language interpreters will be present at each of our scheduled daily talks and throughout our exhibit areas as well. Regular admission prices apply.

Adult Swim

The Seattle Aquarium auxiliary board invites you to Adult Swim, a 21+ after-hours Aquarium experience. Tickets include drinks, hors d’oeuvres, dancing to music by KEXP DJ Troy Nelson and exclusive access to many Aquarium exhibits. Snap selfies with a diver, visit with a giant Pacific octopus and see the 120,000-gallon Windows on Washington Waters illuminated at night.
