Aquarium announces new Director of Marketing and Communications

The Seattle Aquarium recently announced the appointment of Babs Pinette as the new Director of Marketing and Communications. She began work in this role in September.

Babs came to the Seattle Aquarium with varied experience that included working at the National Archives Foundation driving attendance, National Geographic Society marketing global sales of the magazine and most recently at the Seattle Foundation as the Managing Director of Marketing where she regularly partnered with philanthropy.

“While she was here for her interviews, which included a full day on site, we were struck by her deep admiration of the organization for our programs, the animals in our care, our conservation efforts and the excitement of Ocean Pavilion,” said Bob Davidson, Aquarium CEO. “Her enthusiasm and genuine interest shone through during her time with us.”
