Lightning Talks: Sea Otters!

April 22, 2021 at 6pm Pacific time
Mark your calendars for our next virtual Lightning Talks event, this one focused on fan favorites: sea otters!
Join us to learn more about these adorable, furry (did you know sea otters have the densest fur of any animal in the world?), shellfish-loving marine mammals as otter enthusiasts share their knowledge and enthusiasm during a series of five-minute talks. They’ll dive into topics like sea otters’ connection to climate change and what that tells us—and more! You’re sure to come away even more charmed by sea otters than you were before.
Registration will close at 4pm Pacific time on April 22. By registering, you'll receive a direct link to the broadcast after 4pm on the day of the event.

You can also visit the sea otters—plus harbor seals, river otters, shorebirds, jellies, fish and more—in person at the Seattle Aquarium. We’re open daily, 9:30am–6pm. Advance ticket purchase and masks required. Learn more at
