Seattle Aquarium welcomes Jamil Rich as new VP of Marketing, Communications & Experience

The Seattle Aquarium is thrilled to welcome new Vice President of Marketing, Communications and Experience, Jamil Rich.

Jamil brings 20 years of marketing leadership experience from Microsoft and Starbucks. In both organizations, he successfully led global brand strategy and brand marketing. Jamil and his family are avid Aquarium fans and share a strong appreciation for our work and mission.

Jamil oversees a newly formed department, that combines the Marketing, Communications and Public Relations team with the Guest Experience team, comprised of guest services, events and vendor management. A University of Washington Foster School of Business alumnus, Jamil is passionate about community, connection and unforgettable experiences.
