Homeschool Days at Seattle Aquarium
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2025–26 school year Homeschool Day events! In our March and May 2026 programs we had a fin-tastic time connecting with homeschool groups and families. We hope to SEA you all again next school year and are excited to welcome those who were unable to participate this spring to attend future events.
Please keep an eye on this page for more information about 2026–27 school year Homeschool Day events to be shared this fall. At this time, we do not anticipate hosting a fall event. We will update this page with details (including potential dates for spring events) as soon as we have it. Thank you!
About Homeschool Days
Homeschool Days are open to students in kindergarten through high school and are designed to be family learning days. Capacity is limited. Reservations are required and processed based on availability. We do our best to open registration for Homeschool Day events at least two weeks prior to the event, but this is subject to change. Ticket sales for Homeschool Days close at noon the day before the event.
Caregivers are expected to stay in the classrooms with their child; these are not drop-off programs. Caregivers must be 21 years or older and are encouraged to actively participate in activities and monitor student behavior.
Siblings of students can attend programs with their families as well. Caregivers are welcome to step out of the classroom briefly to attend to children as needed. A space with activities reserved for younger children will be available.
Admission to all three Aquarium buildings is included with Homeschool Days tickets.
Check-in for the event will be at the south group entrance of Pier 59 ONLY. Guest Services at our main entrances cannot process entry for this event.
During the designated program times, follow signs to the classrooms on the second floor of Pier 59. Staff will be on hand to guide you.
All reservations for Homeschool Days must be prepaid. Fee refunds will not be given for any unused portion of your order, such as no-shows or cancellations. Please note that program prices, themes and schedules are subject to change.
Homeschool groups are held to the same code of conduct as all school group visitors, including minimum chaperone ratios. Please see our school group FAQ for more information about field trips to the Seattle Aquarium. Please also review our field trip code of conduct.
Can’t attend a Homeschool Day event?

Contact us
The best way to contact Seattle Aquarium’s Registration team is via email at registration@seattleaquarium.org. Please note that due to a high volume of messages, it may be at least a week before you receive a response to any inquiries.
Urgent questions about already confirmed visits can be directed to our Registration office phone at (206) 693-6196. However, please be aware that we are often away from the desk or otherwise unable to answer this phone, so there may still be a delayed response to any voicemails we receive.
