Dining at the Seattle Aquarium
Stop by the Seattle Aquarium Café (Pier 59, second level) during your visit to enjoy a delicious selection of grab-and-go items or build your own custom meal from our chef-curated menu. Featuring locally inspired flavors and ingredients from Seattle-area vendors, the Seattle Aquarium Café offers both indoor seating with views of Elliott Bay and an inviting outdoor deck.
Looking for something quick? Visit Barney’s Snack Shack in the Family Activity Center (next to the Underwater Dome) for convenient grab-and-go snacks, perfect for families on the move.

The Seattle Aquarium Café features an all-electric kitchen. Going electric supports our vision to become a regenerative aquarium—in other words, to provide more environmental benefits than harm.
Please note:
- Credit/debit cards only. No cash accepted.
- Outside food is not permitted in the Seattle Aquarium Café.
- Alcohol purchased in the café must be consumed within the café.

Guests must be 21 years old or older to purchase, possess or consume alcohol on Aquarium property. Alcoholic beverages must be consumed only in designated areas, near the purchase site. Outside alcohol is not permitted. Responsible consumption is required. The Aquarium staff reserves the right to refuse service to any individual who appears intoxicated or is behaving inappropriately. Any violation of this policy may result in removal from the premises.
Sustainable packaging: We strive to minimize the use of single-use packaging and flatware whenever possible. When necessary, we utilize the most eco-friendly and sustainable packaging and products available. In our café, you’ll also find alternative materials like aluminum water and refillable cups.
Responsible sourcing: At the café, you can learn more about the farms, ranches and fishmongers from which our chefs source their ingredients.

Seattle Aquarium Café
Chef Finnley, executive chef at the Aquarium with Seaview Catering and Oak View Group, is a recent transplant to this area and, in his own words, “very excited to be working with the Seattle Aquarium.”
He’s been in the industry for 22 years not only as a chef—but also as a creator, founder and operator of restaurants. He’s passionate about sustainability, heirloom ingredients, preserving food and local agriculture. “I look forward to building on the current menu and adding some fresh new items,” he says: “I can’t wait to serve you.”
