This drop-in program is free with Aquarium admission and offers a variety of learner-centered, developmentally age-appropriate, hands-on activities for young children. Join us for crafts, songs, story time and more! No reservations needed—feel free to stay for any length of time.
Please note: children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

On the first day of the first lunar month comes Lunar New Year celebrations. This ancient festival is celebrated in many East Asian and Southeast Asian communities, bringing together friends and families. Celebrations vary across the world, so we include a mix of activities inspired by those celebrations.
Please note: Papermaking station may get wet. Smocks will be provided. Consider bringing a change of clothes.

Welcome to our Holi celebration! This festival of colors is one of the most important celebrations in India. It welcomes the spring and symbolizes the triumph of good over evil. During our celebration, we encourage you to embrace the joyful mess. After all, you can’t celebrate Holi without a splash of color!

Indigenous Peoples Community Day

Coast Salish-speaking peoples have lived in and cared for this area—bordering what we know as the Salish Sea—for over 10,000 years. Join us in our classrooms to participate in activities that engage with Native expertise while promoting sensory, motor and cognitive skills.

Toddler Time community agreements
Toddler Time is a family program, and caregiver supervision is required at all times.
People that are visibly sick may be asked to wear a mask or not participate. Thanks for helping us keep our community safe!
This is a community space that is meant for everyone. Families of all backgrounds are welcome!
Since this is a shared space, we ask that you and your little ones are aware of the other people around you and share all toys and materials.
