Now Open: The Renovated Seattle Aquarium Café!

As of May 15, our newly upgraded café is open and ready to welcome you! Stop by during your visit to enjoy a delicious selection of grab-and-go items or build your own custom meal from our chef-curated menu. Featuring locally inspired flavors and ingredients from Seattle-area vendors, the café offers both indoor seating with views of Elliott Bay and an inviting outdoor deck.

Looking for something quick? Visit Barney’s Snack Shack in the Family Activity Center for convenient grab-and-go snacks, perfect for families on the move.

Seattle Aquarium members receive 10% off at both dining locations.

Thanks to the recent renovation by our dining partner, OVG Hospitality, the café now features an all-electric kitchen. Going electric supports our vision to become a regenerative aquarium—in other words, to provide more environmental benefits than harm.

Please note:

  • Credit/debit cards only. No cash accepted.
  • Outside food is not permitted in the Seattle Aquarium Café.
  • Alcohol purchased in the café must be consumed within the café.

Guests must be 21 years old or older to purchase, possess or consume alcohol on Aquarium property. Alcoholic beverages must be consumed only in designated areas, near the purchase site. Outside alcohol is not permitted. Responsible consumption is required. The Aquarium staff reserves the right to refuse service to any individual who appears intoxicated or is behaving inappropriately. Any violation of this policy may result in removal from the premises.

Sustainable packaging: We strive to minimize the use of single-use packaging and flatware whenever possible. When necessary, we utilize the most eco-friendly and sustainable packaging and products available. In our café, you’ll also find alternative materials like boxed water and refillable cups.

Responsible sourcing: At the café, you can learn more about the farms, ranches and fishmongers from which our chefs source their ingredients.

By supporting the Seattle Aquarium—including when dining at our top-quality café—you’re helping to further our mission of Inspiring Conservation of Our Marine Environment.
